Natural health, fitness and healing
I follow a natural path of meditation, exercise, natural herbs, vegan diet and fasting. To purify my mind, body and soul. I also follow the spiritual path of my ancestors to follow the cycles of the moon. celebrate the original sabbats, to be all I can be to be focused, balanced and positive. In my everyday life....
After years of studying natural health & fitness. I have continued to search new paths of healing. I follow natural health practices, Ayurveda is one of them. An old world Asian (East Indian) tradition of herbs and Asian medicine. I cleanse and use Asian remedies to keep my body healthy and youthful. For strength, vitality and energy. I will be getting my certification as a natural health consultant and plan on doing healing/cleansings in the coming new year.
What is Wicca & Paganism?
the Old tradition & religion :
Paganism is the belief that nature is the true force in the universe, and that the way of things is a continous cycle of life and death, good/bad, the ying yang principle. We do not accept a supreme being or the belief in a day of creation or a day of judgement, the universe has alway been here and will continue to be here long after the human race is extinct. The Pagan gods are merely embodiments of nature or human emotions. For example when someone refers to mother nature, they are personifying nature.
Paganism is the oldest of religions, when man first developed the ability to reason he began to rever the powerful forces of nature, to better understand what was happening he gave names and faces to these forces, so developed the ancient pantheons. Everyone is born a pagan, a child of nature, one with the other creatures of the Earth, we are then conditioned to follow organized religion, and to believe that we are above nature, supreme to all other life on earth.
Pagan festivals are attuned to nature four of the major festivals are at the two solstices and the two equinoxes. There are other festivals usually centered around agricultural events, ie. planting and Paganism is the belief that nature is the true force in the universe, and that the way of things is a continous cycle of life and death, good/bad, the ying yang principle. We do not accept a supreme being or the belief in a day of creation or a day of judgement, the universe has alway been here and will continue to be here long after the human race is extinct. The Pagan gods are merely embodiments of nature or human emotions. For example when someone refers to mother nature, they are personifying nature.
We respect the beliefs of others and do not try and force our beliefs onto them. Many people associate paganism with devil worship. We do not believe in Satan, he is a creation of the Middle Eastern religions. The pentacle is not a symbol of the devil, it is the ancient symbol for truth and perfection, and also the five elements, Earth, Air, Water, Fire and Spirit. We do not have a standard belief in what happens when we die, everyone has their own ideas, but being human we all hope that somehow the spirit lives on.
. We do not give thanks to a supreme being for the food that sustains us but to the deer that give his life that we may live.

A word of wisdom from a fellow belly dancer sister
Everyone Can't Be In Your Front Row.... From Aminah
Life is a theater - invite your audience carefully. Not everyone is spiritually healthy and mature enough to have a front row seat in our lives. There are some people in your life that need to be loved from a distance.
It's amazing what you can accomplish when you let go, or at least minimize your time with draining or negative not-going-anywhere relationships/friendships/fellowships!
Observe the relationships around you. Pay attention to: Which ones lift and which ones lean? Which ones encourage and which ones discourage? Which ones are on a path of growth uphill and which ones are going downhill?
When you leave certain people, do you feel better or feel worse? Which ones always have drama or don't really understand, know and appreciate you and the gift that lies within you? When you seek growth, peace of mind, love, and truth, the easier it will become for you to decide who gets to sit in the FRONT ROW and who should be moved to the balcony of your life.
You cannot change the people around you...but you can change the people you are around! Pray for godly wisdom and discernment and choose wisely the people who sit in the front row of your life.

FOR EVERY DAY POSITIVITY THE DESIDERATA POEM(Mantra) EVERY DAY MEDITATION.
Shivitti Adonai l'negdi tammid,
Thank you FIRE for illuminating my way, and burning away that which is in my way; fear, rage, greed, resentment, competitiveness, shame and blame. Thank you for igniting my passion to be alive and create for the benefit of all life.
Thank you EARTH for providing the substance of the temple in which I live, and the sacrament that feeds me. Thank you for holding the form of my memories and the vehicle for my movement into the future. Thank you for the gift of touch with which I heal for the benefit of all life.
Thank you WATER for cleansing my heart with grief, and providing me with your ocean of joy. Thank you for the feeling of love; that which heals and brings me to my knees, that floods my senses with the bliss of merged hearts, and gives me the intention to care for the benefit of all life.
Thank you AIR for the wind that clears my mind, that opens me to the wisdom way of my ancestors, and carries seeds and thoughts to their destinations. Thank you for this breath, and the next, for bringing me the smells of flowers and people, for allowing me to know my connection with all life.
Thank you Great Spirit, Eternal One, Ein Sof, Allah, Nameless One, Divine Mystery, Web of Life; Thank you for this time, this place, this opportunity to be with you in all the ways that you appear. Thank you for courage and for strength to see you in the face of what I fear, and to let thy will be done.
Shivitti Adonai l'negdi tammid, (ancient Jewish prayer which loosely translated means: I open to the Holy Presence throughout me and all around, at all times.)
