Q&A
How long are your shows and what do you do.
My shows vary depending on what is asked or required of my performances. Each show is planned according to theme and location. In order to give the best performance it is best to plan ahead any needed details. Like size of venue how many people, how many sets you would like me to do, will their be children or the impaired. For any safety measures , are certain objects not allowed on the premises etc. I use a variety of costume attire, music and props. My shows are decent with style and class. Fun and entertaining for the whole family. Any added information will be provided upon request.
Why Do you charge so much when others charge so little.
Good question and I will explain why. Any dancer can call themselves a dancer by putting on a beautiful costume. It isn't that simple or easy. A professional dancer puts time and money into her training and performance. Years of studio classes, schools , long and tiring workshops and diligent practice each day. Along with staying in shape with daily fitness training , keeping in good health ., the study of the culture and understanding of the music. It all ,.....takes a major part in a professional dancers growth and endurance. Experience and expertise as well as stage presence and dealing with people of all walks of life can be very challenging as well as rewarding. It is hard work.....
So paying a professional dancer with experience, class, style and presence is well worth the money you spend. To have the best entertainment for you and your guest.
Do you do mens parties or offer private dances at parties?
The answer is no. why?
This is a very important subject that needs to be explained. Belly dancers are not strippers. We do not perform at all men's parties nor do we perform one on one entertainment. We are professional dancers who entertain families and mixed crowds in a decent environment. To bring awareness of ethnic cultures, music and dance to the public and the community. Therefore we present ourselves in a proper manner.
Do we tip you or is that allowed?
Another good point to bring up, Tipping is a show of appreciation for the dancers efforts to entertain you. It is also a good luck token for prosperity in some cultures to tip a belly dancer. The correct way to tip a Belly Dancer. Best way would be to throw a bunch of singles around her while she is dancing. Never put money into a Rak shaki performer's (belly dancer) belt or bra. It is distasteful and degrading to the dancer. We are professional dancers not strippers in a adult club.
Do you offer special parties or packages?
Yes I do... I offer many all female parties . It includes a dance set, history of the dance, mini lesson, and a gift for the guest of honour.
Little Princess parties ages 3 to 12
Little Goddess parties- ages 13-16
Harem/Goddess circles - women from 18 to 80.
Proper etiquette on the phone when contacting a performer
It is always common courtesy and politeness when addressing a performer, to always say who you are, who you are looking for(if you seen my web site you know my name) and where you found a dancers link. If there is a voice mail it is always better to leave a message then to just hangup. We are not by the phone waiting for calls, we can be out teaching, performing or in classes.. And we need to know who and why someone has called us. I run into this problem too many times. When clients do not know how to address a Dancer when requesting her service. It can be very time consuming, and fraustrating when people are rude on the phone. Kindly say who you are, the person you are looking for and where you obtained their phone number. It is always good to know where our traffic is coming from as well. As we enjoy performing and would like to hear from anyone interested in booking us. I hope to hear from you all.
Thank you
