Desideria (Divyana)
Is a highly acclaimed performer on the North Eastern Belly dance scene. Known for her class , elegance, innovative artistry, elaborate shows and array of costume styles. . She performs regularly at upscale venues, Cultural events and corporate functions. As well as theater productions, Fund raising benefits, and monthly showcases in the NYC, NJ and MASS areas. Desideria is also a Costume designer, choreographer and instructor. She has traveled, taught workshops and performed in the caribe and overseas. Most recently Denmark and Venezuela. Not new to the dance industry, Desideria has been in dance since her youth, and has been on stage, TV, film and print for over 2 decades now. Being a solo artist, in her own troupes and as a backup dancer with many national well known acts.

Desideria has also studied other paths in asian and holistic medicine, fitness , natural healing and culinary arts. She is a certified natural health Consultant , herbalist, gourmet chef in European Cuisine. She has been furthering her studies and interest in other cultures, and is fluent in their language and dance . Desideria at this time is obtaining her certification in Reiki , a fitness instructor, and will be furthering her degree in Culinary arts at the Natural school of food and heath.
Desideria combines her spirituality , love for her artforms and knowledge into her performance, instruction and teachings. She also hosts and promotes her own showcases and productions.
