Desideria is at constant practice and study in many dance forms and styles of Arabic-Middle Eastern dance. Egyptian, and Lebanese is her main forte but can also do Greek, and Turkish styles. Dancing is in her blood as she is natural born with it. Being raised in a family of entertainers and growing up backstage with vaudeville acts and belly dancers (who babysat me many a time)since 3. I remember a dancer coming to our home one afternoon with my dad (they did a show together) she wore a long blue sequined gown. At the tender age of 6 I decided I wanted to be a professional dancer. It has been my life's dream, ambition, accomplishment and success. Thanks to my dad, he had always had me dolled up for photo shoots and put me in dance classes. The rest is her-story in a making.........
Desideria has also been designing dance costumes since her early dance days. Starting with cabaret for her own costumes for her featured solo and groups shows. As a Rock/Latin/Arabic group backup dancer she then went on to other types of stage wear. She now makes her own costumes as well as her new upcoming Fusion Belly dance line "DEVI WEAR"..
