I have always loved to make crafts and clothing designs. I have been doing so since the late 80's. I first started designing my own stage wear as well as for rock bands and other dancers in the mid to late 80's. In which time I also was a performer with bands and choreographer of my own dance groups. For the past 10 years I have been visualizing, planning and working on my store . I came up with DARK DECADENCE in Autumn 2003. I started working on the concept and designs in 2004. Then getting the web site and vending my wares in 2005 right around the time I started my Gothic Night "AVANT GARDE". It was a night of Decadence and opulence. Art-Music And Dance, elegance, romance , nocturnal mystique and charm. So I though Dark Decadence would be perfect for my store name and "Gothic Emporium for the Elegant Vamp" would be a great logo.
The clothing, novelties and collectibles I have chosen for my store . Have been a long process of research, and thoughtful planning to bring the best and rarest items to the Gothic/Vampire subculture and lifestyle. I make all one of a kind items and work from home. I am very meticulous in designing the best quality costumes from my own vision. That are wearable, stylish and fit a dancers needs. I design and make crafts , and home decor according to my daily visions and spontaneous creativity. I also carry all natural alter and body/bath products with a spiritual, Gothic and/or pagan theme . Every design is one of a kind and unique. So I work on my own right now and it takes time to create-design and promote. I upload new items daily. As I have an array of vintage-antique-new-used and refurbished items available. A portion of my earnings goes to cancer research and other organizations, for animal and human rights. I have lived a lot, learned a lot and done a lot. For the past 2 decades I have been seeking, experiencing and growing. Becoming the multifaceted/talented and tasked womyn I am now. Loving and enjoying every aspect of who I am. Content, happy and peaceful in my realm. In my journey called life.. I have traveled and lived in 5 other states, 3 other countries and have faced many challenges but it made me strong, and who I am today. I speak several languages and learning more. I have walked many paths and met people of many walks of life.
I enjoy exploring my many interest and doing many hobbies.Dancing , modeling and Designing is just the tip of the iceberg of who I am. For over a decade, I have been a esoteric scholar using my own unique sense of intuitive vision & holistic practices to metaphysically help myself and others. I am acertified natural consultant and healer. I work with herbs, essential oils, candle magic, and therapies . I love to read I have every room full of books, as I enjoy educating my mind. , and writing poetry.
I also design all of my own web sites, graphic designs and do all my own promotions. I cook gourmet international foods and bake exotic cookies and cakes, not of the mainstream taste. I love to work my magic in the kitchen. I am quite a Strega(Italian kitchen witch). I will be adding a special baked goods section soon.I am an Arian cusp of Pisces, very real, honest and straight forward.
I respect all faiths and beliefs but follow my own path. I practice natural health, Fitness, healing and spiritualism every day of my life. A Confirmed Catholic but born again Pagan/Practicing Wiccan/Strega.My life is blessed with the love of the God/Goddess in my heart and soul. I am for human and animal rights. I do volunteer work and donate to organizations. I have an Old soul and a young heart. Free spirited and spontanius as a child but reserved as an adult. Always aware of my surrounings and any situation, very intunitive. I love anything old, antique and vintage.
I Love the old burlesque/vaudeville performers, silent films, Film noir and cult classics. I frequent Spiritual, natural health, Pagan, Gothic, Neo Victorian , Anime, Horror and music/arts events. I perform traditional , Gothic and Fusion Belly Dance, Burlesque and Cabaret. I Host and promote events and shows. I also write and publish poetry, sing and play several percussion instruments. I also do healings, and readings.
